Support

Help build what comes next

Every building on this campus began as a request from the valley. So does everything still to come.

Six ways to help

  • Sponsor a Child

Follow one student's schooling from the kindergarten years to Grade 10, through the sponsorship programme AAZ administers on the school's behalf.

  • Support the Campus

Classrooms, teacher housing, the boarding house and the ground they stand on: the buildings that make a school year possible at this altitude.

  • Support a Project

Named capital projects, of which the science laboratory is the most recent to have been designed.

  • Donate

A direct gift, of any size, toward an ongoing project or the running costs of the school.

  • Volunteer

Give time rather than money, to a specific piece of work. AAZ's model has kept costs low by running on volunteers since 1988.

  • Partner With Lamdon

For companies and foundations: institutional partnership on a school that has been sustained for more than thirty years.

Where money has gone

Classrooms, a boarding house, and a laboratory that was designed

Support given to Lamdon has been spent on things that stand: the bioclimatic classrooms of 2011–2014, the campus opened in 2014, the eco-responsible boarding house of 2017–2019, and the science laboratory designed in 2021.

These are the figures recorded in AAZ's project material from 2021. They are not a current fundraising target and should not be read as one. Current scope, cost and status are to be confirmed by the school.

Donations, sponsorships and tax receipts are handled by Association Aide au Zanskar, the French association that has supported the school since 1988. Lamdon publishes no amounts, fees or tax treatment here that the school has not confirmed.
